My family and some friends just spent a weekend at Brookside and also went rafting on the Nantahala. I price shopped and found Brookside to have very reasonable prices. My campsite was right beside a fast running creek and it was lovely listening to it at night. The campground was quiet, very family oriented and clean. My only wish would be for the shower heads to be higher; they hit me just below my neck and I'm 5'9. But, the water was hot and stayed hot in the showers. Overall, this was a great value for our money and we had a great time !! Thank you to Brookside !!
